Josh Oliver - "Over Yonder"

Josh Oliver - Part of Life

Josh Oliver released the first song from his upcoming album, Part of Life, this week, and we're excited to report that it's on Noisetrade. The former Everybodyfields guitarist/keyboardist is set to release his first solo album in three years on October 21st. "Over Yonder" is an Americana delight, and if it's any indication of the rest of Part of Life, we should be in for a real treat. The song has a prevalent banjo part, and you may be able to pick out the second vocalist in the song. That's Andrew Marlin of Mandolin Orange. He and his MO bandmate, Emily Frantz, both have album credits, some of which are for instruments that aren't on "Over Yonder." So it looks like there will be some more fun surprises and collaborations with the Chapel Hill based duo to be found when Part of Life is released.

Be sure to catch Josh Oliver at The Bijou Theatre on October 17th with Mandolin Orange. Also, if you want to hear more of Josh Oliver's music, you can check out his Bandcamp or like his facebook page
