Christmas is a time for generations of families to come together and celebrate. That introduction was corny. We do apologize, but you can see where we're going with this right? In 1998 Blues Traveler's John Popper and Eric Clapton teamed up for the A Very Special Christmas Live album covering Canned Heat's "Christmas Blues." The recording wasn't exactly a big "Changing of the guard" moments for blues, but it was cool to see two of blues's biggest acts from their respective time periods come together and preform. Getting together is what Christmas is about, and Christmas music is no different.
