Dogwood Arts Festival returns to Market Square April 26th - 28th for its 58th annual event. The festival features a market of fine art, activities for kids, and live music. Obviously, KMW is most interested in telling you about the third thing. This year’s event is one of the best music lineups that the Dogwood Arts Festival has ever assembled.
Topping off the bill is Luthi, a band that has become a festival favorite for Knoxville over the last few years. Their late night set at Rhythm N’ Blooms was one of the most talked about of the year, and their return to Knoxville for Second Bell Festival in August was something of a victory lap for them.
DA Fest will be a homecoming for another Knoxville favorite, Elenowen whose last Knoxville play was to a packed room at The Outpost in January.
The Brook & the Bluff is another band on the rise that’s worth catching. They’ll be playing the incredibly popular Moon River Festival in Chattanooga later this year.
Knoxville native Briston Maroney has been touring extensively over the last year playing sold-out shows all over the East Coast with Arlie. Bendigo Fletcher is another act on the rise who will turn some heads in Market Square.
The lineup is high quality all the way down to the very bottom featuring a lot of up-and-coming local talent like Haley Labelle, Nancy Wilson, and Ben Gaines, whom many may know as the frontman of Three Star Revival.
Dogwood Arts Festival is free and open to all ages. You can see the full lineup below.
