Briston Maroney's New Music Video "Under My Skin" Will Get In Your Head

Briston Maroney is back with some new music! The Nashville-based rising star and Knoxville native has a new song out via Canvasback Records, a subsidiary of (!!!) Atlantic Records. “Under My Skin” is the name of the song, and it is a banger! The main guitar riff is addictive and has some real blues-rock vibes a la Cage The Elephant or early Cold War Kids. The whole song showcases Briston’s abilities as a guitarist as well as a talented vocalist.

The video was shot in Amelia Island, Florida. It was directed by Joey Brodnax, shot by Drew Bauml, and the styling was done by Joy Johnson.

Maroney had this to say about his experience of shooting this video in an exotic locale, “Joey Brodnax who directed it is a genius and it was super fun to wear a dress on the beach.”

If you want to see Briston perform this song live, he’ll be in town with his band on Thursday, September 13th with Nashville rock outfit Arlie at Pretentious Beer Co.
