Knoxville Alt-Rock Outfit High Heat Drops First Official Release

We have some new local music here! Knoxville alt-rockers High Heat released some new tunes this week. "Desperation" and "Don't Let Me Down" were released together as a two-song split available on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and other streaming services.

High Heat is a young band with a lot of potential that has that gritty garage-rock vibe a little like early Cage. The band formed by the members meeting up to play music in a freshman dorm at UT a little while back.

If you want to catch High Heat live, you can see them with The Georgia Flood at Open Chord on Thursday, November 16th. Presented by 94z, that show is open to all ages and starts at 8pm. Tickets are available now.
